The Auckland Regional User Group meeting will be held 10:00am-2:00pm, Ngataringa Sports Complex, Devonport Naval base, Devonport, Auckland. Hope you can make it.

The Christchurch Regional User Group meeting was a great success, below are a few of the presentations:
Top of the South, Nelson - 15 May 2009
We awoke to a wet, and NOT sunny Nelson.
So plans were starting to go astray as the planned session by Eagle Tecnology on ArcGIS Server 9.3.1, was unable to start. Their flight from Wellington had been cancelled.
Not to worry, as any resilliant organisation of an event. Things change. Some of the PM presentations were moved to the morning, with the Eagle presentation slotted in in the afternoon.
The day was opened by the Mayor of Nelson, followed by a very good talk by local MP, and Government Minister, Dr Nick Smith.
Then the presentations began in earnest. All was going well until Eagle ended up not being able to come, due to the weather in Wellington, so some more changes were made, lunch was had and the presentations continued.
As we neared the end of the day, all was well. We managed to fill the time left by Eagle, and then the meeting was closed by the CEO of Nelson City Council.
A day that went well and lots of positive comments ensued.
Thanks must go to the team at Nelson City Council who orgainised the day, and the sponsors, GBS (Geographic Business Soluitons) and Eagle Technology.
